York is U is asking your help in fundraising for ORBIS Canada from February 27 until March 1, 2012 from 11 am until 4 pm. The event will be located in the upper and lower bear pit from Feb 27-29 and in Vari Hall on March 1. Learn about the importance of visual health and the impact it has on the world. Hundreds of people suffer from blindness that is preventable.There will be information booths and fun interactive games on visual health a raffle. There is no pressure to donate.

This year, York is U will be collaborating with  Pre- Optometry Club at York University during the Orbis Charity. Also,
We are selling hot chocolate on Monday and Tuesday for 50 cents each.

Why enter the raffle? Because you have the chance to win prize including packages from Orbis and York University!

York is U is looking for volunteers to help out in the morning for set up at 9 am and even take down  at 4-6 pm from Feb 1, 2012 to March 1, 2012. Feel free to show up to the event during the above mentioned dates and times. Cannot make it during those specific hours?-No problem. You can volunteer set up or take down.
