The third Meet & Greet of the Year s this week! Get better acquainted with all the members, coordinators, volunteers and executives of York is U. At your second Meet and Greet, we had Halloween theme, which many participants loved! Want to know the theme of November’s Meet & Greet? You have to attend it to find out!
The purpose of Meet & Greets is to update York is U members on:
- all the events of the month
- coordinator positions availability
- volunteer opportunities
- U Rock / U Rule winners- these awards recognize the members/volunteers that contribute a significant amount of time or make a big different to york is u in the previous month, or if someone has done something extraordinary.
- Engage in active games
- welcome new members/volunteers
- York Cheer off
- mingle with York is U members/coordinators/volunteer and the York is U executive team
- how to become involved / how to become a member
- anything else that York is U is upto
Congratulations to the follow members of York is U for winning the U Rock/ U Rule award- Raymond Chen, Salujah Gnanachandran, Kanagambari Puvaneswaran and Ernest Boakye!
Drop by on Wednesday November 16, 2011 at 6-7 pm in Founders College – Senior Common Room 305 to find out all the fun occurring within November and the November U rock / U rule winners!
